Idealism
Berkeleyan Idealism is the most prevalent form of idealism in Western Philosophy. It places higher priority to the mental concepts, such as ideas and human minds, rather than the physical body, or other tangibles. In the book Idealism: New Essays in Metaphysics, author Tyron Goldschmidt, and editor Kenneth L. Pearce takes their readers on an exploratory journey of the relationship between Kantian idealism, and the physical structure of the empirical world in which we live. Idealism, once the most practised view point within Western philosophy, has become an almost non-existent practice in recent years. New Essays in Metaphysics attempts to unearth the mysteries, and shed a light on the misconceptions of this once popular philosophical discipline.
