A Miscellany of the Macabre
As the companion volume to the massively successful Necronomicon, Eldritch Tales: A Miscellany of the Macabre is an eclectic assortment of both author H.P. Lovecraft's most obscure (and quite frankly bizarre) poetry, revisions, and ramblings, as well as his notable and celebrated works of mainstream nonfiction, such as his critically acclaimed essay Supernatural Horror in Literature. This volume also includes the complete unabridged 36-sonnet collection that makes up Fungi From Yuggoth, which has been out of print for many decades. Although Lovecraft only lived until the age of 47, his large library of works have been some of the most praised in literary history, and have been the inspiration and motivation behind some of today's most prolific horror and supernatural writers.
